Alright, just to get you up to speed; There were these two decades called the “80’s and 90’s”. Now, these twenty years saw some interesting things in politics, world history, and science but all of them pale in comparison to the intro’s to the cartoons you’re about to watch.

First off is a show that I swore was just a fever dream that I had as a small child because now one else seemed to have ever heard of it. When Youtube came around, I was vindicated. Now watch as the twin majesties of animation and premise collide in “Cadillacs and Dinosaurs”!

They can’t all be awesome, like that, but most of them CAN be about dinosaurs. This was the 80’s and 90’s, after all. In elementary school, my friends and I would put our hats on top of our heads, with the bill pointing up. This would make it look like the fin on a dinosaur’s head, just like the main character in the next cartoon, “Denver, the Last Dinosaur”.

So, what do you get when you take Anthropomorphic cats, fighter jets, the guy who voiced Donatello in the original TMNT, and thrash-Metal? You get fuggin “Swat Kats: The radical Squadron.” (I mean, they even put the word “Radical” in the name!). No need to thank me... you know what? You can thank me.

If I’m being honest with myself, the animation in this next one isn’t really anything to write home about, but the music is killer and the show itself is (was) amazingly funny. People, I present to you… “Eek The Cat”.

I didn’t intend to fill this up with just a bunch of intros to cartoons about dinosaurs but, apparently, 9 year old’s are super into dinosaurs. I can only imagine that’s why I watched so many dinosaur themed television shows and movies (I won’t even go into “The Land Before Time” and “Dino Riders”). That being said- here is the lost “Gem”- “Dinosaucers”.

This last one is honestly terrible. I don’t remember much about the show but I LOVED the action figures. The theme song is... interesting? Anyway, here is “Wild West C.O.W boys of Moo Mesa”. I’m sorry.
